Madison Girls' Lacrosse Advances to Liberty Conference Semi-Finals

In the first round of Liberty Conference 6 play on May 5, Madison handily defeated Fairfax 21-3 at home. Scoring for the Warhawks were Andie Battin, Annabelle Bentley, Diana Lowther, Anya Saponja, Carly Rogers, Zoe Dyer, Grace McDonough, McKenna Nolan (2 apiece), Shannon Condon, Grace Knicely, Caroline Turner, Caroline Kurtz and Ashley Go (1 each). Battin, Saponja, Dyer, Knicely, Turner, Kurtz, Go and Olivia Choutka provided key assists. Defenders Condon, Kurtz, Go, Jacqueline Shultz, Hailey Swaak, and Laurel Yano allowed few Rebel Pride shots on goal, and goalie Ellie Socher had 4 saves.
