Oakton Carjacker Arrested: Police
BREAKING: Police responding to an assault in Oakton said the suspect tried to steal a car and assaulted a jogger nearby.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax Police responding to an assault at the 9700 block of Blake Lane Sunday said that the suspect was involved in two other incidents in Oakton.
Around 9:25 a.m., victims reported the suspect threatening them inside their home. When police arrived, a 60-year-old woman also reported that a man had tried to steal her car when she was driving.

Officers checked the area found a man intersection of Blake Lane and Five Oaks Road. After investigating, police determined the suspect assaulted a man running along Blake Lane. The male victim had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. The female victim did not require medical treatment.
Sergio A. Vigil, 25, of Fairfax was arrested and charged with carjacking, malicious wounding, assault and public intoxication. He was taken to the Adult Detention Center.
