Man Damages Car In Vienna Road Rage Incident

A case of road rage in Vienna went too far when a man followed a car and tried to start a fight with its passengers.

VIENNA, VA — When does road rage go too far? Well, in this case, a man followed and damaged a car in Vienna Tuesday night.

On June 20, the victim reported to Vienna Police a pickup truck was following his car around 10:30 p.m. The truck trailed his car to the Amphora Restaurant parking lot (377 Maple Avenue West) when a man got out and tried to start a fight.

The car driver began to drive away, and the man damaged the car. Two others were in the pickup truck at the time of the incident.

A resident found a package that was delivered to his front door that he had not ordered. When he notified the shipping company he was advised that the order was made in his name using his credit card information.

Employees reported that a work vehicle and landscaping equipment were stolen from the
business sometime during the prior night.

June 22, 2017 12:26 p.m.

A toddler was located at the park wandering around without a parent. Detective Leroux
accompanied by Child Protective Services located and interviewed the mother. They determined
that the child had wandered from the home accidently. The toddler was reunited with his mother.
