Man Kills Girlfriend's Son In Merrifield Stabbing: Police
Police say the suspect is dating the victim's mother. The two had a fight before the stabbing happened.
MERRIFIELD, VA—A man is dead after a reported stabbing in a Merrifield apartment early Wednesday, according to Fairfax County Police.
Police responded to the 2900 block of Charing Cross Road before 1 a.m. Officers found the victim with a stab wound in the torso and tried to provide aid. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
The suspect was taken into custody outside the building. Adalberto Vasquez Hernandez, 36, was charged with homicide.

The victim was identified as Oscar Daniel Diaz Fuentes, 27.
Police say the suspect and victim lived in the same apartment. Investigations revealed Hernandez is dating Fuentes' mother. The victim and suspect got into a fight earlier in the night. Hernandez allegedly returned later and stabbed Fuentes.
