McDonald's Closes At Cedar Park Shopping Center In Vienna

VIENNA, VA — There have been a number of recent business changes at the Cedar Park Shopping Center, most recently being the closing of the McDonald's.

A sign on the front door indicates the location is closed. Employees from the location were moved to other McDonald's locations at 3195 Old Lee Highway in Fairfax and 7101 Leesburg Pike in Falls Church.

"We would like to express our sincere thank you to all our customers who visited our Cedar Lane McDonald's," a sign at the closed business reads.

Residents can still get their McDonald's fix within town at 544 Maple Avenue W and just outside town on the way to Tysons at 2089 Chain Bridge Road.

Despite the McDonald's closing, shoppers can find a few recent additions to the Cedar Park Shopping Center. Toby's Ice Cream is open next door to the former McDonald's. Before visiting, check daily hours on the business Instagram or Facebook.

Other recent openings include Mediterranean eatery Lezzet Restaurant and El Sabor Mexican Grill, the latter of which replaced El Sol. Japanese restaurant Sushi Koji opened in late 2021. Another opening yet to come is America's Best Wings.
