Popular Holiday Attraction Meadowlark Winter Walk Of Lights Opens For Season
You don't have to wait for December to find holiday festivities. Meadowlark Winter Walk Of Lights is one early opening this holiday season.

VIENNA, VA — Even as most holiday happenings won't start until after Thanksgiving, there's one early opening to help get you in the holiday spirit.
Meadowlark Winter Walk of Lights opens Friday, offering an illuminated walkthrough of Meadowlark Botanical Gardens at 9750 Meadowlark Gardens Ct., Vienna, VA. The holiday lights attraction is open from Nov. 10, 2023 through Jan. 7, 2024.
This is the 12th year of the winter lights attraction run by NOVA Parks. Visitors can walk through a half-mile of Meadowlark Botanical Gardens featuring lighted trees and displays. The attraction is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Beverages with or without alcohol are available for purchase, as well as marshmallows to roast for s’mores.

Capacity is limited for Meadowlark Winter Walk of Lights, and reservations are required to guarantee a spot. Hours are 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Nov. 10 to Dec. 7 and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Dec. 8 to Jan. 7. Tickets cost $18 in advance plus fees and taxes.
NOVA Parks has three winter lights attractions, the drive-thru Bull Run Festival of Lights in Centreville, Ice & Lights Winter Village at Cameron Run Regional Park in Alexandria and Meadowlark Winter Walk of Lights in Vienna. Bull Run Festival of Lights opens on Nov. 10, and Ice & Lights Winter Village opens on Nov. 17.
