Memorial Day Weekend: U.S. Marine Band At Wolf Trap
'The President's Own' United States Band is returning to perform under the stars at Wolf Trap, followed by fireworks.

VIENNA, VA -- "The President's Own" United States Marine Band will perform under the stars at Wolf Trap Sunday, May 28, followed by fireworks as part of the Summer Blast Off! The band will perform a mix of classic and new favorites, as well as patriotic marches at the outdoor Filene Center.
The patriotic performance is free and begins at 8 p.m. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. for covered and lawn seats. The facility has limited seating and will close at capacity. A firework-viewing area will open at 9:30 p.m. and the dazzling finale will end 15 minutes later.

“The President's Own” United States Marine Band was founded in 1798 and is the country's active band. Its mission is to perform for the President of the United States and the Commandant of the Marine Corps. The band has performed at the annual Wolf Trap concert for 46 years.
