Mold In Ice Bin; Fly In Tofu: Vienna Restaurant Violations

A dead fly in tofu is one of the violations health inspectors found at Vienna area restaurants.

VIENNA, VA — Fairfax County regularly conducts health inspections for local restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Here are some of the violations from recent inspections in June. Among the violations was a dead fly in tofu at Busara Restaurant in Tysons.
