Names Released of Driver, Motorcyclist Killed in Crash
A Vienna woman and two female passengers were not injured after their Acura was struck by a motorcyclist in Gaithersburg who later died.

Authorities on Monday released the name of a Vienna woman whose car was struck by a motorcyclist while making a U-turn in Gaithersburg last Saturday night. Authorities also revealed the identity of the cyclist, who later died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.
The crash was reported just before 8 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Frederick Road (Route 355) and Christopher Avenue in Gaithersburg.
Investigators believe the motorcycle was southbound on Frederick Road when it struck a black Acura MDX making a U-turn from northbound Frederick Road to southbound Frederick Road.

Authorities reported the driver was Amelia Siu-An Hay, 48, of the 8100 block of Madrillon Court in Vienna. Neither she nor her two female passengers, ages 82 and 52, were injured.
Stanislas Alexandre N. Nignan, the 35-year-old motorcycle driver from Gaithersburg, was taken to Suburban Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
