Nepali Restaurant Mo:Mo House To Close This Week In Vienna

Mo:Mo House, a family-owned Nepali restaurant, is closing Saturday.

VIENNA, VA — Mo:Mo House, a Nepali restaurant on Vienna's Maple Avenue, announced its upcoming closure.

In a social media post, the owners said Mo:Mo House will permanently close on Saturday. Patch reached out to the restaurant for comment on the reason for the closing. We will update this post if we get in touch with the owners.

"We want to thank you, our amazing customers, for your unwavering support over the years, through thick and thin," states a post on Mo:Mo House's Facebook page. "We feel very fortunate for having known you, your family and friends. We’ve made many great friends, had a lot of fun times, and shared many life stories."

Mo:Mo House, owned by the Basnet family, features various Nepali specialities, but Mo:Mo House is named after momos, or Nepali-style dumplings. The restaurant is located at 131A Maple Ave. West and is currently open for takeout only Wednesday to Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
