Next Drug Take-Back Day Set For Weekend In Vienna
Checked your medicine cabinet lately? Here's your chance to get rid of unwanted prescription drugs in Vienna.

VIENNA, VA—The Vienna Police Department will participate in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The national initiative, heeded by the Drug Enforcement Administration, addresses the growing concern of misuse and abuse of prescription drugs—intentionally and not.
Residents can drop off expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs at the Vienna Police Department, 215 Center Street, South, Vienna—no questions asked.
Drugs can be disposed of in their original containers or by removing it and disposing of it directly into the collection box. Liquid products should be sealed in containers to prevent leaking. The police department recommends removing any identifying information from the prescription label.
