Person Struck, Killed By Metro Train At Vienna Station
Metro said train service was suspended between Vienna and West Falls Church Monday morning.

VIENNA, VA — A person was killed by a Metro train at the Vienna station Monday morning, according to Metro.
The report came shortly after 9 a.m. A Metro spokesperson confirmed the man's death to the Washington Post. The spokesperson said the man "intentionally" went on the track.
Metro said train service was suspended between Vienna and West Falls Church. Shuttle buses were requested to provide an alternative to riders.

As of 11:40 a.m., Metro reported that train service was restored. After continuing delays, Regular Orange Line service resumed around noon.
