Fake Grenade Causes Stir in Vienna Neighborhood
A police spokesman confirmed there was nothing hazardous found at the scene.

Fairfax County Police detectives and members of the special operations unit responded to a call from road workers near Vienna Thursday morning regarding what appeared to be a grenade lying in a residential neighborhood, a police spokesman confirmed.
The workers noticed the possible explosive and contacted police at approximately 9:30 a.m. Authorities reported to the scene on Vesper Street near Higdon Drive to inspect the area, and determined the grenade to be fake.
The police spokesman confirmed the incident presents no threat to the public.
