Police Report Number of Vehicle Break-Ins in Vienna
The following information was supplied by the Vienna Police Department.

Vienna Police are urging residents to remove all valuables from unattended vehicles and most importantly, lock the vehicle doors, after a spate of vehicle break-ins last week in Vienna.
Note: The addresses listed below indicate blocks and not specific addresses of incidents. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not necessarily indicate a conviction.
- Oct. 10-11, 1200 block Ware Street SW: A resident reported she had been contacted by her credit card company and informed that there may have been fraudulent charges made on her credit card. The resident stated that is when she discovered someone had entered her unlocked vehicle and had taken her wallet. This case is being investigated.
- Oct. 15-16, 700 block Hillcrest Drive SW: A resident reported that someone had entered her unlocked vehicle and had taken several cassette tapes and an undetermined amount of cash.
- Oct. 15-16, 700 block Ware Street SW: A citizen reported that someone had entered her unlocked vehicle and had taken several credit cards, cash and an iPod. This case is being investigated.
- Oct. 15-16, 400 block Courthouse Road: A resident reported that someone had entered his unlocked vehicle and had taken an undetermined amount of cash.
- Oct. 15-16, 700 block Ware Street SW: A resident reported that someone had entered her unlocked vehicle and had taken a pair of sunglasses and an undetermined amount of cash.
