Police: Man Stabbed by Acquaintance Thursday Night in Vienna Area

Fairfax County Police report Friday that a 59-year-old man was stabbed Thursday night at his home, in the 1800 block of Brookstone Court in the Vienna area of Fairfax County.

Police were called to a residence at 10:50 p.m. for the report of a man who had been stabbed. Officers located the male victim inside the residence. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Police determined the victim and suspect were acquaintances. While visiting the home last night, the suspect reportedly stabbed the victim in the upper body then fled. 

Detectives located the 19-year-old suspect at his home a short time later and took him into custody. Victor John Bieniek, of Falls Church, has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding, police said.
