Roosters Men's Grooming Care to Open Doors in Shops at Avenir Place

'Old school' barbershop to bring fourth Virginia location to Vienna; ribbon cutting and grand opening to be held in the coming weeks.

The Shops at Avenir Place is becoming one of Vienna’s top business hotspots, thanks in large part to its proximity to the Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metro Station.

This month, another new business is opening its doors to the community from within the up-and-coming shopping complex: Roosters Men’s Grooming Center.

Described in a news release as “a classic American barbershop with modern hair care services for men of all ages,” owner Michael Valmont explained Roosters thrives on an old-fashioned barbershop experience.

His business partner, Steve Terrillion, echoed those sentiments.

“Roosters caters specifically to men’s grooming needs in a relaxing and comfortable environment,” Terrillion said in the news release. “We’re in a great location that is convenient for busy professionals, residents and visitors to the area.”

Valmont said Roosters will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and a grand opening celebration with the Greater Merrifield Business Association later this month, although a date has not yet been set for those festivities.

Roosters is open seven days a week, and takes walk-ins in addition to scheduled appointments. The barber shop is part of a chain that includes nearly 70 locations nationwide; the Vienna location will mark Roosters fourth location in the state of Virginia.
