Runner Hit In Vienna Crosswalk: Crime Report
The jogger was not injured, but the vehicle did not stop, according to police.
VIENNA, VA — A pedestrian was hit while running in Vienna on Dec. 10, according to police.
The incident happened around 6:55 a.m. at Beulah Road and John Marshall Drive NE. The runner was heading north on Beulah Road when a vehicle approached and did not completely stop at the stop sign, police say. The vehicle rolled onto her in the crosswalk, and she reportedly fell onto the hood of the vehicle.
The crash did not cause any injuries. The driver continued left on southbound Beulah Road and did not stop, according to police.

Between December 13 at 12:00 p.m. and December 14 at 6:00 a.m.
A resident reported that his home security video showed three people entering his two unlocked vehicles and rummaging through them. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

December 13 8:30 p.m.
On December 16, a resident reported that he had lost his wallet in the area of the 7-11 on December 13. He later found that an unknown person was using some of the credit cards from the wallet to make unauthorized charges. On December 17, another resident came to the police station to turn in several items from the wallet that she found in the area of Maple Avenue and Niblick Drive.
December 14 5:00 p.m.
Vehicle-1 was traveling westbound on Church Street, turning left to go southbound onto Center Street. A pedestrian was crossing Center Street in the crosswalk when she was struck by Vehicle-1. Driver-1 fled the scene without stopping. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries.
