When To Expect Santa Runs Around Vienna With Volunteer Fire Department

VIENNA, VA — Santa Claus is coming to town — that's the word from the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department.

The volunteer fire department will again host its Santa Runs in 2022. Vienna volunteer firefighters will serve as elves to escort Santa around Vienna on the 1946 Maxim fire engine.

Santa will make his visits to different areas of Vienna between Dec. 13 and Dec. 19. As residents hear sirens and music and see lights, they can step outside to greet Santa and his elves. Elves will hand out candy canes to spectators.

• Tuesday, Dec. 13, 5:30 p.m. - NE2 Vienna
• Wednesday, Dec. 14, 5:30 p.m. -NW1 Vienna
• Thursday, Dec. 15, 5:30 p.m. -SW1 Vienna
• Friday, Dec. 16, 5:30 p.m. -SE Vienna
• Saturday, Dec. 17, 1 p.m. -SW2 Vienna
• Saturday, Dec. 17, 5 p.m. -NE1 Vienna
• Monday, Dec. 19- NW2 Vienna

Aside from the Santa Runs, Santa will be at the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, Dec. 10 for a sold-out event. The volunteer fire department also has its 2022 ornament commemorating Vienna's first fire appliance on sale.
