School of Dance and Performance Troupe Dance for a Cause

Rhythmaya's 7th Annual Charity Showcase raised funds for Assistance League of Northern Virginia's community-based children's programs.

We would like to recognize Rhythmaya Dance for donating a portion of the proceeds from its 7th Annual Charity Showcase to support Assistance League of Northern Virginia’s Operation School Bell® programs. The school of dance’s generous donation of $500 will help our nonprofit to bring important programs to at-risk children in our community. Rhythmaya’s “Metro Mastani” themed shows were held on April 17th at the Ernst Cultural Center in Annandale and featured performances by over 300 students from the Loudoun County, VA branches and troupe members. The audience enjoyed a mix of Bollywood, Kathak, Semi-classical, Hip Hop and Folk numbers from different regions of South Asia.

Rhythmaya Dance reached out to our nonprofit organization via a referral from Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Community Impact Council. To learn more about sponsorship opportunities, contact VP Resource Development Linda Shilts: lindamshilts@gmail.com. #ALcommunityoutreach
