Sexual Assault Prompts Investigation In Tysons Area
Police are looking to identify a suspect for the sexual assault of a woman in a hotel room.

TYSONS, VA — Fairfax County Police are seeking help to identify a suspect in a sexual assault Wednesday in Tysons.
The incident was reported after 5 a.m. Wednesday in the 8600 block of Westwood Center Drive. A woman told police a man entered her hotel room, displayed a knife and sexually assaulted her. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The Major Crimes Bureau’s Victim Services Division was assigned to provide resources to the victim.

The suspect was described as a black man in his 40s around 5 foot 10. He was last seen wearing glasses, a full beard, gray shirt, sweatpants, and a small black backpack. Police have provided a sketch of the suspect.
