Shop Local Bingo Challenge Planned In Vienna, Prizes Offered
With holiday event cancellations expected due to the pandemic, residents are encouraged to shop early and support Vienna businesses.
VIENNA, VA — The pandemic has resulted in many community events being canceled, and the same can be expected for the holiday season. That in turn has an impact on local businesses already facing pandemic-related challenges.
The Vienna Business Association and Bards Alley Bookshop will encourage Vienna residents to support local businesses with a Shop Early, Shop Local, Bingo challenge. From Saturday, Oct. 10 to Monday, Nov. 30, residents can complete the bingo card for a chance to win prizes from local businesses. The bingo card has business related challenges, as well as community challenges like sending cards to first responders.
When you complete five spaces in a row, return the completed card to Bards Alley Bookshop (110 Church Street NW, Vienna) by Nov. 30. You'll be entered to win the raffle prizes from local businesses. So far, prize sponsors are Bards Alley, Vienna Business Association, Caffe Amouri and Pizza Roni.
