Shop & Stroll Initiative To Be Launched In Vienna
On select Saturdays, a different shopping center will host socially-distant activities to promote businesses.

VIENNA, VA — A lot of things may be canceled during the pandemic, but shopping never is. The town will host a Shop & Stroll initiative to promote Vienna's various shopping centers and businesses.
Starting on Oct. 24, a different shopping center will be featured on select Saturdays. The shopping centers will host socially-distant seasonal activities and in-store promotions. Shoppers are encouraged to learn more about the businesses and the history of the shopping centers. Visitors are asked to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
The initiative kicks off on Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Vienna Shopping Center, located at 180 Maple Avenue West. Businesses at the center will have store promotions, surprises and other activities. There will also be free performances by Kennedy Center’s Washington National Opera through their pop-up concert truck. Performances will be held at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. with a limited audience and social distancing. There will be 50-person capacity limits for each performance.
