Sketch Released After Armed Robbery Near Vienna Metro

Police say the victim was robbed at gunpoint on a walking path to the Metro station.

FAIRFAX, VA—Police have released a sketch of the suspect in the Oct. 6 armed robbery near the Vienna Metro Station.

The victim had been on a walking path around 11:42 p.m. near the 9400 block of Lee Highway when the suspect approached. The suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded money. The victim gave up his wallet, and the suspect fled.

The suspect was described as a 35-year-old black man around 6 foot tall, 195 pounds with an average build, black hair, a “spotchy" beard, muscular arms and wearing a black long-sleeved shirt.
