South Block Opens Location In Vienna

VIENNA, VA — South Block opened a long-awaited location in Vienna Monday. Located at 207 Maple Avenue East, it will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

The locally-based chain specializes in acai bowls, smoothies, fresh pressed juices, coffee and more snacks. It is also offering smoothie bowl kits that can be made at home without a blender. South Block has outdoor patio seating and indoor seating at half capacity as well as pick-up and delivery options through the South Block App and Uber Eats.

The location formerly hosted one of a few Starbucks location on Maple Avenue. Those Starbucks locations have been replaced by a drive-thru store at 362 Maple Ave East. The shopping center where South Block is located will also get a Crumbl Cookies location, according to signs at the storefront.
