Sponsors Sought for Vienna Oktoberfest, Halloween Parade
Although these events are still more than two months away, sponsorships are what help make these annual celebrations possible.
Some of us might be too entrenched in summer to be looking ahead to the fall, but not the Vienna Business Association.
The group is already hard at work planning two of Vienna’s most popular annual fall events — the Oktoberfest celebration and the Halloween parade — and it needs sponsors to help make these events possible.
This year’s eighth-annual Oktoberfest has been officially announced for Oct. 3 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Church Street. There will be plenty of food, beer (and root beer), shopping, live music and more on hand for the day-long event.

The VBA still needs a sponsor for the main stage, and it’s always looking to add more sponsors to build on the success of the event from previous years.
The same can be said for the Halloween parade, which is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 7-9 p.m. This is the 69th annual parade, through town, and in the past the parade has attracted as many as 30,000 community members.

But the parade is lacking sponsors, something the VBA hopes to remedy before the leaves begin to fall.
