Stolen Vehicle Recovered After Theft At Vienna Wawa: Police
The car was stolen from a delivery driver who left a vehicle running while picking up food.
VIENNA, VA — A vehicle was stolen from the Vienna Wawa parking lot and recovered on Feb. 4, a Vienna Police report states.
The incident happened around 12:35 a.m. at the 465 Maple Avenue West Wawa location. According to police, a delivery driver left his vehicle running in the parking lot while picking up food. The vehicle was believed to be stolen while he was in the store.
After a lookout for the vehicle was reported to surrounding jurisdictions, Fairfax County Police found the vehicle unoccupied at Chain Bridge Road and Glengyle Drive in Oakton a short time later. The victim reported a Play Station 4, keyboard, and marijuana were missing from the vehicle. He did not wish to pursue charges or further investigation.
