Summer Heat Headed for Fredericksburg

Check out the Fredericksburg forecast for the week.

Summer is now a few weeks old, and the summer heat Northern Virginians have grown accustomed to is beginning to set in.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for highs in the 90s with a heat index topping 100 degrees in the early afternoon. There’s a chance of rain each of the next three days, which may keep residents cool for periods of the week, but rest assured the sun will be back in time for the weekend.

Friday: Partly sunny. High 91, low 71. 30 percent chance of evening showers.
