Suspicious Person At Stores, Theft Outside Eatery: Vienna Crime
Vienna Police responded to a stolen shopping bag outside a restaurant and other incidents in the last week.

Vienna Police responded to a variety of incidents reported the week of Nov. 9-15, from a thief stealing from a contractor to a suspicious person at drug stores.
We've rounded up the most notable incidents below. An arrest does not always mean police took someone into custody. An arrested individual is not automatically guilty of a crime.
Crash - Church Street and Council Drive, NE 18-009296
November 9 9:06 p.m.
Vehicle-1 was traveling eastbound on Church Street when she struck Vehicle-2 which was legally parked on Church Street. Driver-1 was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

416 Maple Avenue, East
November 10 between 12:30 p.m. and 1:39 p.m.
An employee advised a man locked himself in the bathroom and was refusing to leave. Officers spoke to the man and determined he was highly intoxicated. The man was transported by an officer to the Fairfax County Detox Center for treatment. He was also served with a trespassing notice from the restaurant and advised that he may be charged with trespass if he returns.

November 11 between 4:00 p.m. and 5:20 p.m.
A contractor working at a residence returned to his work vehicle and found a power washer and a walk behind lawn mower deck had been taken.

CVS
337 Maple Avenue, East
November 11 7:04 p.m.
A man was reported by employees as acting suspiciously first at Walgreens (225 Maple Avenue, East), then at CVS. The man was trespassed from the CVS and advised that he may be charged with trespass if he returns to the store.

201 Maple Avenue, East
November 14 2:15 p.m.
A customer reported a shopping bag containing a CD player and earbuds were taken from a cart she left outside of the restaurant.
