Tara Voigt Elected, Sworn in as New Vienna Town Council Member

Voigt has prior experience as the Chair of Vienna's Transportation Safety Commission and as a member of the town's Planning Commission.

After some shakeup in Town Hall, the town of Vienna is back in rhythm as the summer continues, now with a completely elected Town Council in place.

New Councilmember Tara Voigt, a town resident since 2000, has taken over a seat on the Council in place of departing Councilman Emil Attanasi, who’d filled in on the Council since last May when former Councilwoman Laurie DiRocco took over for Jane Seeman as the town’s mayor.

Voigt, who was sworn in prior to her first Council meeting on July 6, ran unopposed to permanently fill the seat on the Council, as did re-elected Councilmen Howard J. Springsteen and Carey J. Sienicki.
