There's An App For That: Vienna Launches Tool For Service Requests
Need to put in a work order with the Town of Vienna after business hours? Now there's an app for that.

VIENNA, VA—In the age of smartphones, you can have almost any service at your fingertips in the form of an app. Now the Town of Vienna is joining the movement with a new tool for work requests.
On Sept. 1, Vienna will launch an app and website portal called "Help, Vienna" where residents can submit concerns and work requests 24/7.
For instance, if residents see a pothole, they can snap a picture and submit a work request all on their smartphones. Requests can include animal issues, traffic and traffic signal concerns, construction or street maintenance issues, water leaks, sewer backups, trash or recycling questions and more.

After submitting a request, the resident will receive an automated email reply that the request has been received will be addressed during the next open business hours. Officials say it will be a convenient tool to submit requests anytime but should not be used in emergency situations.
Residents can access the help portal on the Town of Vienna website by clicking the "Help, Vienna" service request button at the bottom of the page. The app is available on the Apple Store or Google Play by searching for "Click2Report" by Tyler Munis. Once the app is downloaded, Vienna, VA can be chosen from a list of municipalities in the settings tab.

“Most of us have access to our cell phones all the time,” IT Director Tony Mull said in a statement. “So Help, Vienna should be an effective tool for residents to communicate concerns and service requests to the Town at any time at their convenience.”
