Thief Breaks Into Car In Vienna School Parking Lot: Police
Police say the car had signs of forced entry.

VIENNA, VA—Vienna Police responded to a variety of incidents the week of Feb. 8-14, including a car break-in near a Vienna school.
The break-in happened Saturday, Feb. 9 between 10 a.m. and 11:05 a.m. at Marshall Road Elementary School. The driver says she parked her car in a lot behind the school. When she returned, the car had signs of forced entry. She reported her purse stolen.
Police issued a reminder on securing vehicles and keeping valuables out of sight.

The Bey Lounge

February 9 12:43 a.m.
A resident reported loud music coming from The Bey Lounge. An officer responded but did not observe any violation. The officer advised an employee of The Bey Lounge of the complaint. Although no violation was observed, the employee agreed to turn the music down.

100 Block Church Street, NW
February 11 3:30 a.m.
A resident called for assistance after her boyfriend assaulted her. The man left the area before officers arrived. The woman refused rescue but was transported to an area hospital by an officer for non-life-threatening injuries and further investigation.
Warrants were obtained for the 43-year-old man from 1st Street in Rockville, Maryland. He was arrested in Maryland and is awaiting extradition to Virginia on the charges of felony Strangulation and misdemeanor Assault in this case.
