According to FCPS, the school division's on-time graduation rate trends "reflect the impact of long-term programmatic reforms, targeted school support structures, staffing investments, and intentional student engagement and intervention strategies." School divisions have also benefited from state graduation flexibilities introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic school closures, although fewer flexibilities are in place compared to 2021. State flexibilities will continue to be rolled back in the coming years.
