Town Manager To Host Discussion On Policing In Vienna
Vienna Town Manager Mercury Payton's monthly series continues with conversation on policing.

VIENNA, VA — Vienna Town Manager Mercury Payton will continue his monthly community conversations with an August event on policing. The On Deck with Mercury discussion will happen on Tuesday, Aug. 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Vienna Community Center gymnasium.
The conversation will focus on policing in Vienna, use of force, and finding a path forward in regard to policing. Vienna Police Chief Jim Morris will be among the participants.
Due to space limitations and physical distancing requirements, the in-person event is limited to about 70 people. Registration is required and is only open to Town of Vienna residents at viennava.gov/ondeck. If space remains available on the day or the event, seating would be available to Town of Vienna residents, then out-of-town residents. It will also be streamed and available for viewing on the Town of Vienna's YouTube channel.
