To help you get in the holiday spirit, Vienna's holiday kick-off and other events are planned in the coming weeks.

VIENNA, VA — For many families, tree lightings are a way to officially welcome the start of the holiday season. The Vienna area has several kick-off events planned.
The Town of Vienna's holiday kick-off is the Church Street Holiday Stroll on Monday, Nov. 28 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. along historic Church Street. Santa will arrive by fire engine, and a tree lighting will be led by Mayor Linda Colbert. The event also includes live holiday music by local performers and deals from Church street businesses. Visitors are also encouraged to stop by the Freeman Store and Museum, Little Library, Caboose, Train Station, Knights of Columbus (formerly First Baptist Church) and Vienna Presbyterian's Old Chapel.
Before Vienna's event, Tysons Corner Center will light its holiday tree on the Plaza on Friday, Nov. 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Santa will be on hand to light the tree, and there will also be live music, community performances, a pop-up market with mall retailers, specialty beverages by Barrel + Bushel, complimentary s’mores and hot chocolate station, giveaways and more. Santa visits and photos will be available at the mall through Dec. 24, including days for pets and sensory-friendly visits.
