The two events benefit the band, which is headed to the Bands of America Grand National Championship in November.

VIENNA, VA — The Madison High School Marching Ensemble will be headed to the Bands of America Grand National Championship on Nov. 14-16, but residents can continue to support the band with two fundraisers afterward. The Vienna Turkey Trot will be held on Sunday, Nov. 24, while the Tiny Tots concert dates are on Dec. 5-6.

The annual Vienna Turkey Trot benefits the band and Vienna Volunteer Fire Department. This year, it's scheduled before Thanksgiving with the holiday falling in the last week of November. The event features a kids' fun run at 8 a.m. and 10K and 5K at 8:30 a.m. starting and ending at the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department, 400 Center Street South. Before the event, check out the Turkey Trot auction online. Items are up for auction to support the marching band.
