Vienna 2020 Halloween Wave Parade Route Released

The Halloween wave parade will make its way around Vienna starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

VIENNA, VA — The Town of Vienna has released the route for the Vienna Halloween Wave Parade on Saturday, Oct. 31.

The 74th annual parade held by the Town of Vienna and Vienna Business Association is a smaller-format event due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Around 20 floats, fire and rescue vehicles, police cars and more will visit all four quadrants of Vienna. This year, the parade is only open to a select number of floats and not walking groups. The event will follow safety guidelines such as face coverings and social distancing. Residents are invited to wear costumes and watch the parade as it comes by their homes.

The parade will kick off at the Vienna Community Center at 10 a.m. The route includes portions of Park Street, Moore Avenue, Tapawingo Road, Cottage Street, Courthouse Road, Nutley Street, Malcolm Road, Lawyers Road, Church Street, Beulah Road, Maple Avenue, Mashie Drive, Echols Street, Branch Road, and Locust Street.
