Vienna 9/11 Ceremony To Be Held By American Legion Post 180

Here are the details for this year's ceremony honoring the victims and first responders of the 9/11 attacks.

VIENNA, VA — American Legion Dyer-Gunnell Post 180 will hold its annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 9 a.m. on the Town Green. All are welcome to attend.

The ceremony honors the first responders as well as the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Before the ceremony, the sounding of bells will begin at 08:46 a.m. to mark the first strike on the North Tower of the World Trade Center and end at 10:28 a.m. to mark the collapse of the North Tower.
