Vienna Area Restaurant Inspections: A Fly Problem
Restaurants in Vienna fared well during November inspections, while others were cited for drain flies and food handling without gloves.

VIENNA, VA — Fairfax County regularly conducts health inspections for local restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.
“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.
Here are some of the violations from Vienna, Oakton and Tysons inspections in November. Among the violations were drain flies found at Sbarro in Tysons Corner Center. The restaurant must provide proof of pest control service as a result.
