The Fun Run dates back to the 1990s. After being replaced with other community outreach programs, Police Chief Jim Morris revived the event in 2016. The police department holds the event to give residents a chance to interact with officers.

It's sure to be a fun day for kids and cops alike. Well, it's probably better for the kids —they always win the race.
