Police: Rock Thrown Through Window of Maple Avenue Church

An employee at a local church last Thursday afternoon thought she heard a golf ball crashing through a church window, possibly from the nearby Westwood Country Club golf course.

But when she went to see what happened, she found a rock had been thrown at the window, causing it to break.

The incident took place at about 4:38 p.m. at the Emmaus United Church of Christ, located at 900 Maple Ave., according to the Vienna Police Department.
