Vienna Farmers Market Returns For 2022 Season In May
The Vienna Farmers Market will open again at the community center, offering products from various local producers.

VIENNA, VA — Farmers market season will return to the Vienna Community Center with the opening of the Vienna Farmers Market on Saturday.
The market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays from May 7 to Oct. 29 at Park Avenue and Cherry Street. Run by the Optimist Club of Greater Vienna, it is a volunteer-run market with vendors from a 150-mile radius of Fairfax County. Fees from the market benefit the Optimist Club of Greater Vienna, which puts the funds into youth groups and charities in the Vienna area.
"With amazing vendors from across the region, the Vienna Farmers Market provides the highest quality locally-sourced fruits and vegetables and delicious homemade foods," The Optimist Club of Greater Vienna's website states.

Each week, different musical performers will provide live music at the farmers market. A schedule of performers is available here.
The market is the only one serving the Town of Vienna. In 2021, NOVA Central Farm Market at Holy Comforter Church relocated back to Marshall High School after the town issued a code violation. The town code currently only allows one farmer market, but Town Council directed staff to explore the possibility of allowing more than one in the code update process.
