The volunteer-run market is hosted by the Optimist Club of Greater Vienna, which uses booth rental proceeds to benefit youth groups and charities in the Vienna area.
Vendors must be within a 150-mile radius of Fairfax County and grow, raise, bake or make all items they sell at the farmers market. Items range from produce to Crafters selling non-food items typically cannot participate, but vendors may sell items such as beeswax candles.
