Vienna Halloween Parade Wednesday Will Be Held Rain or Shine

Although rain is in the forecast, the Town of Vienna says Wednesday’s 69th Annual Halloween Parade will take place rain or shine. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the weather will be clear!

The parade takes place Wednesday at 7 p.m. on Maple Avenue in Vienna.

Road closures on residential streets for the parade line-up will begin at 4:45 p.m. Maple Avenue will be closed from East Street to Lawyers Road, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Here’s the National Weather forecast Wednesday for Vienna:

Wednesday: Rain. High near 69. South wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Wednesday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 a.m. Low around 57. South wind 6 to 10 mph becoming southwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
