Vienna Man Breaks Into Buildings To Steal $5K In Copper: Police
The Vienna man would break into homes and other buildings to steal copper and make a profit, police say.

MCLEAN, VA—A Vienna man has been charged for numerous building break-ins to steal copper parts around the McLean area.
Timothy Price, 41, had been breaking into commercial building and old vacant homes since November, according to police. He would enter the buildings, cut out copper material, and take it to junkyards to sell.
The stolen copper is worth more than $5,000.

Police caught Price on Feb. 9 attempting to steal more copper. Price was arrested and charged with four counts of burglary, four counts of larceny with intent to sell, and possession of burglarious tools and is being held without bond.
More charges are possible as detectives continue to investigate.
