Vienna Oktoberfest 2021 Seeks Volunteers, Vendors

Vienna Oktoberfest is back in 2021 with beer and wine gardens, food, entertainment and more.

VIENNA, VA — Prost! Vienna residents can celebrate the return of Vienna Oktoberfest in 2021 after a cancellation last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event is scheduled for Oct. 2 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. along Church Street.

Oktoberfest, presented by the Vienna Business Association and Town of Vienna, is one of the town's largest events of the year. Attendees can expect two beer and wine gardens, a drinking area from the Caboose parking lot to the Town Green, food, live entertainment on three stages, children's activities and games, a business expo, vendor area and more.

For the event to happen, vendors and sponsors are needed. Vendor and sponsorship space has been known to sell out in past years. Applications are due by Sept. 7. There are separate applications for non-food vendors, food vendors and sponsors.

Another opportunity to get involved is volunteering at Oktoberfest. The event depends on volunteer support for setup, ticket sales, beer pouring, cleanup and more. Individuals and groups are encouraged to volunteer. Those who volunteer for at least five hours will get a free meal voucher. Sign up to volunteer for Oktoberfest here.
