Vienna Precincts Support Connolly In 2022 Midterm Election

VIENNA, VA — Tuesday's congressional midterm elections saw most Virginia representatives hold onto their seats, including Fairfax County's Gerry Connolly in the 11th congressional district. At the precinct level, support for Connolly was higher at certain Vienna precincts.

Connolly was named the projected winner in the election over Republican challenger Jim Myles. Connolly received 184,593 votes to Myles's 93,460, according to unofficial results. The only missing votes are provisional ballots, which include same day registration votes.

In Fairfax County, Connolly received 178,362 votes and Myles received 90,263 votes. The provisional ballot results are not yet counted. Connolly won all Vienna area precincts with percentages of votes in the 50s or 60s.
