Vienna Restaurant Inspections: Mold Grows On Cream Cheese

VIENNA, VA — Fairfax County regularly conducts health inspections for Town of Vienna and county restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Here are some of the violations from recent Vienna, Oakton and Tysons inspections. Among the violations were flies found at Oklahoma Joes Barbecue in Vienna and mold on cream cheese at Sushi Garden in Vienna. The cream cheese was discarded during the inspection.
