T-shirts featuring Vienna businesses are on sale until June 5, and Oakton brick-and-mortar businesses are sought for an Oakton version of the T-shirt fundraiser. Owner Sarah Bohn hopes proceeds can help businesses with expenses such as employee pay and rent during the pandemic's economic impact.
According to Bohn, the Vienna T-shirt sales and donations in raised over $7,600. After $500 in state taxes, the remainder went to 27 businesses featured on the T-shirt.
There were 34 businesses on the T-shirt, but some businesses opted to forgo funds so other businesses in need could receive more. These businesses were Norm's Beer & Wine, Ghaffari Orthodontist, Clarity, Cowface Yoga, Vienna Vintner, Vienna Jewelry and Pure Chiropractic.
