Vienna Theatre Company and Vienna Dept of Parks and Recreation presents

The Vienna Community Center may be under construction but the show goes on! Come enjoy the Vienna Theatre Company’s spring production, In Living Sound, at the Flame Room of the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department (VVFD) for 4 performances only: April 1, 2, 8, 9. We are happily teaming up with the VVFD Auxiliary to present an evening of food, fun and theatre. The Auxiliary will be serving up delicious food items and VTC an evening of entertaining radio shows from the 1940’s:

Adventures of the Thin Man: The Case of the Goofy Groom and The Big Story: Manhunt in Manhattan.

The Adventures of the Thin Man (1946) features those famous married detectives, Nick and Nora Charles, taking the place of two newlyweds, whom someone wants out of the way. The quips fly as fast as the bullets as Nick and Nora sleuth out why someone would want to kill the Goofy Groom.

The second performance, The Big Story: Manhunt in Manhattan (1948), features character Ted Prager, ace night reporter for the New York Daily News, who tells the thrilling tale of how he solved a crime that had stumped the police.

Tickets: Friday cost is $14 with hot food and drinks available for purchase beginning at 7:15pm. Saturday cost is $25 in advance; $30 at door with dinner, drinks and dessert included and served beginning at 7:15pm. Shows both nights at 8pm!
