Vienna Town Council Election: Who's Seeking Re-Election
The mayor and all six Town Council seats will be up for election in 2023. See who plans to run again.

VIENNA, VA — All of Vienna Town Council's seats will be up for election in November 2023, and a few current members won't be running.
As reported in the Vienna Voice newsletter, Councilmembers Nisha Patel, Steve Potter and Ed Somers will not seek re-election. Mayor Linda Colbert and Councilmembers Chuck Anderson, Ray Brill and Howard Springsteen intend to run for re-election.
Vienna's town elections are now happening in November rather than May due to a change in Virginia local elections law. Town Council and mayor positions are now up for election at the same time rather than the previous staggered two-year terms.
